- My favorite sound- when the wheels go up on an airplane. I experience the same thrill of beginning a client writing partnership. Both signal an adventure with transformative possibilities.
- An Epic Encore! At 76 I published an award-winning autobiographical novel and got invited to speak on global stages. These events fueled my passion for guiding Sage Stagers to author their Epic Encores.
- Of the 195 countries in the world, I’ve visited 67 so far. And I’m not stopping anytime soon. Every journey expands my worldview, provides me with new stories to write, and insights about the stories others want to write or have written for them.
- In the Sahara Desert, outside of Timbuktu in Mali, West Africa I once slept in a tent. The sky was endless, the silence sacred, inspiring a thirst for more such adventures.
- I once flew out of Timbuktu on a Russian prop plane—with a woman sitting on my lap. Yes, that’s right! When more passengers than seats appeared, we were told to make do. A wild tale, but I lived to tell it!
- Nine years ago, I lost my husband and greatest supporter. Today his love and my memories travel with me. In 2001 we spent six unforgettable months on an unplanned 30,000 mile road trip across 30 states, celebrating 30 years of marriage. We slept in tents in campgrounds. Along the way, I gathered women's stories and found inspiration for a book.
- One and done! One wonderful husband who had to leave this world too soon, one fabulous daughter, one terrific son-in-law, and one amazing grandson. This trio of love grounds my Sage Stage writing and story mentoring.

I bring together my master’s degree in humanistic psychology, ten years of creative writing instruction from top professionals, and three years of training as a Feminine Power Transformational Leader, Coach, and Facilitator. Combined with a lifetime of inner and outer exploration, my mission is to help people- especially Sage Stagers- embrace their creative power through writing.
